Welcome to ZOA.

After years of struggling with death & heartbreak, the creator of ZOA decided to put his feelings into music. Forging his deep anger and sadness into the metalcore bass music you hear from ZOA today. To provide an even deeper connection with the audience he decided to tell the music through animated characters, which further deepened the project.

We are ZOA.

This isn't just music. It’s a living, animated story. A universe where advanced technology collides with human emotional and morality. Every single track is a chapter written through the eyes of a character fighting to heal, evolve, and break out of the pain. All are welcomed in our universe.

The Live Experience

ZOA blends heavy metalcore breakdowns into reckless bass drops. On stage, ZOA connects with the audience by wielding a massive double-neck guitar while hammering live drums. Guitar solos light up the stage, & their drums deepen the stage. ZOA sets take you to another level surpassing a traditional DJ set & bringing you into a world of live performance & an animated story production.

From massive stages at Global Dance Festival, Supernatural, and Anime Expo, the movement caught fire. In 2023, ZOA played their headlining show at Larimer Lounge, & it sold out. Momentum didn't just build—it exploded, leading straight to packed headlining runs at The Black Box, Cervantes' Other Side, and a massive 600-capacity takeover of the legendary Bluebird Theater in Denver.

The Era Begins

In 2026, the universe expanded with the debut full-length album, The Eras Within.

12 defining tracks mapping out a lifelong bass journey. Featuring heavy-hitting staples like "Infinite Elsewhere" and "Shadows Speak in Silence," alongside the metal momentum of "Up in Flames."
